Fire Warden Training (3hrs)

What does the law require with regard to Fire Wardens?

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that you must have a sufficient number of competent people to perform evacuation duties. All staff identified in your emergency plan that have a supervisory role if there is a fire (i.e. heads of department, fire marshals or wardens) should be given details of your fire risk assessment and receive more comprehensive training.

This course gives delegates all round knowledge of how to prevent a fire from happening, a clear understanding of their responsibilities, duties and role as a Fire Warden/Marshal and what to do in the event of a fire. As well as covering theoretical and practical implications which will enable delegates to undertake an efficient and orderly evacuation of their building in an emergency situation.

Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training (2½hrs)

What does the law require with regard to staff training?

Employers must ensure that all employees are provided with adequate safety training at the time they are first employed and repeated periodically where appropriate. Training should include suitable and sufficient instruction and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employee in order to safeguard himself and other relevant persons on the premises.
